“Dodge Challenger” Powers Up with Alec Bradley for Las Vegas Big Smoke
Guests at the November 9-11 Las Vegas Big Smoke have an extra incentive to view the pulse-quickening 2008 Dodge Challenger on exhibit in the Chrysler Corporation booth. The event is a 2-day cigar bash at The Venetian, sponsored by Cigar Aficionado magazine (M. Shanken Publications, of Wine Spectator magazine note). Hundreds of cigar lovers stream to the annual cigar party, sampling the best cigars, wines and spirits.
Chrysler/Dodge has teamed with Alec Bradley Cigar Company to produce a limited edition “Dodge Challenger” premium cigar. “We wanted to create a blend that was powerful yet smooth, to match the Dodge Challenger’s performance,” stated Alan Rubin, president of Alec Bradley Cigars. Each attendee will receive a ticket for the cigar, redeemable in the Dodge booth. The former 2006 concept car will premiere in showrooms next year. The retro rave-up of the revered 1970 fire-breathing Challenger is dressed out for today, and powered by what else? ... Dodge’s famous 500+ horsepower Hemi V-8. Only 5,000 will be produced.
