Alec Bradley Cigars Appoints National Sales Director
President Alan Rubin, of Alec Bradley Cigar Company, has appointed George Sosa (50) as its first National Sales Director. He reports, “George worked for 8 years in national sales management for Tabacalera Perdomo and Miami Cigar Co. Moreover, he draws his ability for straight talk and interpersonal rapport from his 10 years as a U.S. Navy Master Chief of Recruiting.”
Sosa’s other 15 years in his Navy career included demolition scuba diving. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Business at Fairleigh-Dickenson College in his home state of New Jersey, shortly after enlisting at age 17.
Quoting Rubin: “Alec Bradley’s growth over the last few years had put time constraints on me that didn’t allow me to spends as much time with our customers as I wanted to. It was time to bring on a sales manager that shares a common vision and passion for customer service and support. George is responsible for supporting our 10 sales reps nationally, as well as our loyal retailers. He’ll also explore new products and market strategies, plus develop promotional programs.” Sosa reports directly to Rubin, in the company’s Dania, Florida, headquarters.
